![]() ![]() ![]() Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony imposes rules to be respected if you want to develop a game on their console, and I don't think making the game crash would suit the rules. Last but not least, due to the behavior of Don't Touch Me (crashes the game) and WhiteNight (impossible to pause and quit the game), the game would probably fail the technical requirements checks. Also, before trying to develop on the console, you need to be part of the Nintendo Developpers program, which you cannot enter like if you wanted to register on some site, you'll need their greenlight first.Did I already tell the team is an indie one with a tight budget ? To develop on Switch, you'll need to buy a "development kit" to Nintendo at a rather high price.Don't forget : you may control the camera and orders like a Fallout Shelter, but when it comes to combat, you'll need micromanagement skills like in StarCraft The game was thought to be played with a keyboard and mouse, it would be a UX puzzle to make it possible. The controls are indeed not impossible to port, but it's a huge work. When you know the Switch has less power than a good PC, it's a tremendous optimization work to do to make it possible The game is not optimized for the Switch : I have a good specs on my PC (Witcher 3 on ultra at 60 fixed FPS) and the FPS drops when I reach day 35 with lots of employees.Just because the game is made with Unity doesn't mean you can just switch the target platform and expect it to work flawlessly.Porting a game (when it was not planned) is far more expensive than doing translation Need evidence ? The lack of worldwide translation. ![]() Right now, Project Moon is working on Library of Ruina and since it's a very small team, they clearly don't have time, neither the money, to make another version of the game. Making a switch port would mean more work on Lobotomy Corp.I don't think it would be possible without costing tons of money and development time. Just because it looks like Fallout Shelter doesn't mean it can be easily ported to switch. ![]()
